Print a copy of the Bookmark Template, then
pick the square that has the picture you would like to show on your
bookmark.
|
Ask for your parents’ help/ permission.
Select one of the
squares and cut it out along the
dotted lines. Cut all the way through to the edge on the sides of
the page (pretend the dotted lines continue to the sides of the
page).

Your piece of paper should look like this.

| Turn the sheet over so the picture is facing away from you. |
Fold the top right
corner across the sheet until it touches the bottom left corner. Make a
crease, then open it up again. |
Fold the top left corner
across the sheet until it touches the bottom right corner. Make a
crease, then open it up again. |

Turn the sheet back over
so the picture is facing you.
|
Fold the sheet of paper
in half.
|
Gently push the top left
corner down,
inside the folded rectangle. Repeat with the top right corner. Then flatten into a triangle. |

Your sheet should look like this.

Fold the lower right corner up until it touches the top of the triangle. Make a crease, then open it up again. | Fold the lower right corner up until it touches the top of the triangle. Make a crease, then open it up again. |

| Your sheet should look like this. You should have a diamond-shape in the middle of the triangle, formed by the creases. | Tuck the lower right corner under the diamond. | Tuck the lower left corner under the diamond. |
